WHERE THE LOCALS GO – COSTA RICA

Before heading to a new destination, we always make an effort to connect with locals. Besides the fact that they know the best spots and hidden gems, connecting with people and making new friends is the main reason why we love to travel! Not to mention, it’s incredibly cool to experience the culture of the places we visit from a local’s perspective. Our next destination is Costa Rica, as we are planning our 7-day itinerary, we are ready to immerse ourselves in this beautiful Central American country in search of the essence behind the expression “pura vida” – or should we say, the way of life? For this very reason, we had the pleasure of interviewing Carlos, a passionate explorer who spends his weekends uncovering the natural wonders of Costa Rica while creating awe-inspiring content on Instagram. From picturesque hikes to breathtaking waterfalls, this vibrant country offers it all. Carlos’s…

WHERE THE LOCALS GO – GAY LISBON

Portugal was such a nice surprise for us. As virgins to the country, we landed in Lisbon not knowing what to expect. We knew we would have a lot of things in common like the same language for example,  which helped us to dive deeper into the culture. What we didn’t realize until we arrived is that visiting Portugal was a way cooler experience than we thought it would be. Besides having the most delicious food, we felt very safe and welcomed by the Portuguese people during Gay Pride Lisbon. Also I think it is fair to give credit to  Portugal for becoming one of the first countries in the world to win the battle against drugs. If you’ve never been to Lisbon, there has never been a better time to go. There are a lot of exciting things happening in Portugal, for that reason we interviewed Nelson Farrim to…

The most typically gay neighbourhood in Berlin would be Schöneberg, however the gay scene you find there is more stereotypical.  In Mitte you have the main tourist…
